We Haven’t Abandoned Baba Suwe—TAMPPAN

Comic actor, Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, has denied allegations that Baba Suwe’s colleagues abandoned him despite his failing health.
Baba Suwe, born Babatunde Omidina, is currently battling an undisclosed illness.
Mr Latin was speaking to reporters on Monday in his role as the National President of the Theatre Arts and Motions Pictures Producers Association of Nigeria, (TAMPPAN).
Speaking from Abeokuta, Mr. Latin explained that Baba Suwe has been a beneficiary of financial and moral support from TAMPPAN.
“I have just instructed the Lagos State executive of the association to check on him to ascertain his health progress.
“I can tell you that we have not abandoned Baba Suwe, as well as any of our members, as being speculated in some quarters by mischief-makers,” he said.
He insisted that said support has been given since the the administration of immediate past President of the association, Dele Odule.

Baba Suwe has revealed that he is battling an undisclosed ailment.

The 51-year-old actor confirmed his health challenges in a 2019 interview where he lamented the worsening state of his health,

He confirmed that he is currently walking with the aid of a stick.
