Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, assisted by his wife, Dolapo, donned the Santa Claus cap Friday to set the mood for Christmas, just a few hours away.
Posting the pictures on his Instagram account with a message directed to his 72,000 followers and by extension all Nigerians, he wrote:
“Merry Christmas and may 2018 be your best year yet.”
The post however drew varied responses, with some complaining about the fuel scarcity in the country and some reciprocating the Second Couple’s gesture.
On his Facebook wall, he posted a variant of the photographs, showing only his wife wearing the cap. There was no Christmas message attached.
However, wife of the Vice President Dolapo Osibanjo launched her new book, ‘LET US PRAY’ and will be available in stores nationwide from next week.
