Veteran Nollywood actor, Asa Koko, has sadly passed away after a prolonged battle with an undisclosed illness.
The heartbreaking news was shared by his colleague, Kunle Afod, in a touching Instagram post on Thursday.
Afod posted a video from his visit to Asa Koko’s home before his passing, where the late actor was seen with a visibly swollen leg, narrating his struggles during his illness.
In a brief but emotional message, Afod wrote: “May his soul rest in peace. Asa Koko. It’s a WRAP.”
In the video, Asa Koko recalled his hospitalization, stating: “I was hospitalized at Island. I was battling with injuries on my legs. The state governor even visited me during the treatment.
