Online personality, VeryDarkMan, has announced the recovery of ₦78 million stolen from his NGO’s website, which had been hacked earlier, resulting in the loss of ₦180 million.

In a trending video on X (formerly Twitter), VeryDarkMan revealed that a suspect in custody confessed that an accomplice holding the remaining funds had escaped to Ghana. He further disclosed plans to travel to Ghana to pursue the matter.

The online figure also shared findings from a cybersecurity analysis of the website, which revealed threats from multiple countries, with the highest being from the USA (614 threats), followed by Nigeria (58).

Expressing gratitude, Verydarkman said:
“First of all, I really want to thank everyone who reached out to me since this incident happened. Thankfully, we’ve recovered ₦78 million, though the suspect admitted his accomplice fled to Ghana.”

The revelation has sparked varied reactions online, with some questioning the transparency of the process while others congratulated him on the partial recovery.
