Popular cryptocurrency entrepreneur and socialite, Blord, has lent credibility to activist Verydarkman’s claims of missing funds from his NGO account.
This development comes three days after Verydarkman raised an alarm on social media, stating that N180 million had been stolen from the organization’s account.
The shocking revelation sparked widespread skepticism, with some netizens dismissing it as a publicity stunt.
However, Blord took to his platform to share findings from his “top sources,” stating that the account’s balance was N98.3 million on Monday morning but had been drastically reduced to just N20 million on Saturday.
Blord wrote:
“Verydarkman is not catching any cruise! The money is actually missing in that account. The balance is around 98.3M this morning; as at Saturday, the balance was around 20M. I pray he recovers that money! May God help him. I have forgiven him… Let’s support him.”
While Blord’s post has garnered support for the embattled activist, it has also reignited debates surrounding the security and management of funds within NGOs.
As investigations into the alleged fraud unfold, calls for transparency and accountability in nonprofit financial operations continue to grow.
