VeryDarkMan Advises Iyabo Ojo To Make MC Oluomo Father of The Day At Daughter’s Wedding

Controversial social media personality Martins Otse well known as VeryDarkMan (VDM) has taken a jab at actress Iyabo Ojo following her recent congratulatory message to MC Oluomo the newly elected president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

In a video shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, VDM commented on Iyabo’s public show of support for MC Oluomo.

With a hint of sarcasm, he used the actress as an example in mock prayer, wishing that his critics would one day acknowledge and appreciate him much like Iyabo’s gesture towards MC Oluomo.

VDM also addressed those who criticized Iyabo for her message, suggesting they should stop throwing shade at her.

He defended Iyabo’s actions saying, “To those of you shading Iyabo Ojo and saying she is doing high service, all of you should stop this. Somebody dey try secure father of the day for her pikin wedding wey dey come up, una dey dey insult her.”

He went on to explain the significance of having MC Oluomo as the “father of the day” at Iyabo’s daughter’s wedding, suggesting that the actress was making a strategic move. “She gats crawl back,” he added.

VDM also praised actresses like Toyin Abraham and Eniola Badmus for their loyalty to MC Oluomo and President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 general elections, pointing out their continued association with them.

He concluded by saying that Iyabo’s decision to congratulate MC Oluomo was a smart one referencing the popular saying, “If you can’t beat them, join them.”

In the caption accompanying his video VDM wrote, “Ah, I hear say queen mother don go back to dey hail thug 🥴 as expected.”

Iyabo Ojo’s recent move comes in contrast to her stance during the 2023 elections when she openly supported Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and criticized APC’s then-presidential candidate Bola Tinubu, now the President.

At that time she also labeled MC Oluomo and his NURTW associates as “thugs,” a remark that led to a backlash from several Yoruba actresses including Dayo Amusa and Bimbo Akinsaya who subsequently criticized Iyabo.
