Veteran Nollywood actress, Fausat Balogun, popularly known as Madam Saje, has opened up on the factors behind her sustained energy and continued relevance in the film industry.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, the actress attributed her vitality primarily to her faith, while also highlighting the importance of personal care and discipline.
“God is the secret behind my youthfulness. Also, taking care of oneself is important. One has to take care of oneself,” she said.
Drawing a comparison between the human body and a machine, Balogun emphasized the need for consistent maintenance to remain active and productive.
“If you use a car often and don’t take care of it, it may break down on the road. The body is like a tool we use to work. It has to be maintained and taken care of,” she explained.
Beyond health, the actress also offered guidance to upcoming talents aiming to succeed in Nollywood. She stressed that attitude and character play a crucial role in building a lasting career.
