Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son of Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni, has stirred reactions online following a daring tweet about Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Muhoozi Kainerugaba claimed his late grandfather, Mzee Amos, granted him the “permission to get any woman on earth,” boldly declaring his intention to “capture” the Nigerian singer.

The tweet from Muhoozi Kainerugaba read:
“My late grandfather, Mzee Amos gave me permission to get any woman on earth. I will capture that girl, Ayra Starr.”

This proclamation follows Ayra Starr’s electrifying performance at the 27th edition of Blankets and Wine in July 2024, where she shared the stage with South African stars, Blaq Diamond.

Netizens React:
Social media erupted with a mix of humor and critique:

  • Patrick Peter: “You can capture her by sending your country’s GDP allocation for four years 😂😂😂.”
  • Ogbedie Prince: “Ayra Starr is richer than the whole Uganda including the president himself, so my dear son look elsewhere.”
  • Wisdom Hikims: “My guy went to Uganda with ₦2,000,000; he became the richest man ever liveth in Uganda 😂😂.”

The tweet has added a new layer to online conversations about celebrities and high-profile admirers. While Ayra Starr is yet to respond, the declaration continues to generate widespread buzz.
