Controversial actor Uche Maduagwu has called out social media activist Verydarkman (VDM), accusing him of allegedly paying N2 million to generate a fake AI voice note implicating popular media personality Nedu Wazobia.

Background of the Controversy
Recently, Verydarkman released an audio recording purportedly featuring Nedu Wazobia bragging about having friends involved in internet fraud (Yahoo) and drug dealings. However, Nedu immediately denied the allegations, stating that he had never engaged in criminal activities.
In response to the backlash, VDM reportedly submitted petitions concerning the situation to three embassies, although the details of these petitions remain unclear.
Uche Maduagwu’s Allegations
Taking to his Instagram page, Uche Maduagwu accused Verydarkman of fabricating the AI-generated voice note to smear Nedu’s reputation.
“So you paid someone N2M to do AI video about Nedu just because you want to damage his image? Now it shows that your mama no train you well… Why are you doing this? All because of clout. You just want to chase clout,” he said.
Maduagwu also referenced President Buhari’s past remarks about Nigerian youths, suggesting that VDM’s actions validate the former leader’s criticisms.
Ongoing Reactions
The allegations have sparked debates online, with some netizens questioning the authenticity of the AI-generated voice note, while others demand proof of Maduagwu’s claims.
As the drama unfolds, neither Verydarkman nor Nedu Wazobia has publicly responded to Maduagwu’s accusations.
