Talent manager Ubi Franklin has reportedly been dismissed by Chioma Adeleke, wife of Afrobeats superstar Davido, severing his long-standing relationship with the Adeleke family.

Controversial blogger Stella Dimokokorkus made the claim in an Instagram post, alleging that Chioma’s decision was influenced by financial controversies surrounding Ubi Franklin.
“Former music label boss Ubi Franklin is not having it easy at all… Aside from being dragged over alleged debts running into millions, insiders claim that Chioma has relieved him of his duties as her manager due to the embarrassing situation,” the post read.
Chioma Adeleke: Adding to the speculation, Davido and his 30BG crew reportedly ignored Ubi Franklin’s birthday on Sunday, a stark contrast to previous years when he received public tributes from the singer and his circle.
The development follows Ubi Franklin’s ongoing dispute with fast-rising singer Spyro over unpaid royalties. Spyro recently accused Ubi of owing him $5,000 for a performance in Ghana, a claim the talent manager denied.
Chioma Adeleke: Instead, Ubi stated that Spyro owed him money for a car deal commission, which the singer allegedly failed to pay. Spyro later responded by flaunting his assets, asserting that he had prospered without needing to pay a 10% cut.

Neither Davido, Chioma, nor Ubi Franklin has officially addressed the sack rumors.
