A Jeju Aircraft passenger plane carrying 181 people, including six crew members, crashed on Sunday in the South Korean city of Muan, resulting in a fiery scene that left at least 28 people dead or injured. The Jeju Air Plane Crash happened in an unexpected situation putting the country in a state of dilema.

The aircraft, which was returning from Bangkok, suffered a landing gear malfunction, veering off the runway, colliding with a fence, and bursting into flames at Muan Airpor which resulted in the Jeju Air Plane Crash.

South Jeolla Province Fire Service Headquarters confirmed that the fire was extinguished, but recovery operations are ongoing, with the death toll and number of injuries expected to rise. The Jeju Air Plane Crash remains a mystery.

Reports indicate that two people were safely evacuated, but most passengers faced severe challenges during the rescue. According to CNN, a fire department official described the aircraft as “almost destroyed” by the fire.

This tragic incident has sparked concern and mourning across South Korea as authorities work to uncover the cause of the malfunction and ensure a full recovery operation for the victims and their families.
