Nigerian Celebrity, Ms Tonto Dikeh has emerged running mate to Mr Tonte Ibraye, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers.
The actress and musician has lauded the ADC governorship candidate for nominating her as his running mate for the 2023 governorship election.
The movie star took to her verified Instagram page @Tontolet on Friday to share the good news.
She wrote: “I thank Mr Tonte Ibraye, the governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC), River State, for nominating me as running mate.
“We are looking forward to invest massively in social protection, creating a social value system for young people, increase women inclusion in our governance system.
“We will equally support small businesses and strengthening our traditional institutions to be active players in the drive to bring sustainable development to the good people of Rivers State.”
She urged people of the state to get their Permanent Voters Card, saying “your’re the future and the future is now”.
