President Bola Tinubu on Monday swore in the seven newly appointed ministers in a ceremony held at the council chamber of Aso Villa.

The ministers were appointed a fortnight ago after Tinubu dismissed five others from his cabinet.

The new ministers and their portfolios are Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Dingyadi, Minister of Labour and Employment; Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; and Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment.

Others are Idi Maiha, Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Ata, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Suwaiba Ahmad, Minister of State for Education.

The new ministers are expected to immediately begin their duties.
