President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has suspended EFCC Chairman AbdulRasheed Bawa indefinitely.
The president ordered Bawa’s suspension to enable for adequate inquiry of his actions in office, according to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Willie Bassey, Director of Information, said Bawa must immediately turn over his office’s business to the Commission’s Director, Operations.
The director will manage the Office of the Commission Chairman until the inquiry is complete.
