The administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has decided to move the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting from Wednesdays to Mondays.
This change was announced by the Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, after the recent FEC meeting held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
It’s worth noting that President Tinubu has only conducted two FEC meetings since his cabinet was inaugurated in August.
The second FEC meeting also included the swearing-in of three additional ministers who had recently been screened by the National Assembly.
The Minister of Information indicated that the frequency of FEC meetings may not be as regular, especially if there isn’t pressing business to discuss.
In the previous administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, FEC meetings were held on Wednesdays.
