Popular Fuji musician Remi Aluko has revealed that he is currently living with severe vision impairment caused by glaucoma, a condition he said he has battled for several years.
The singer made the revelation during an interview on Oyinmomo TV, where he spoke candidly about his health challenges and the impact they have had on his daily life.
Aluko explained that despite previously undergoing eye surgery, his condition has worsened to the point where he can no longer see properly.
“I’m a glaucoma patient. I’m managing myself; I’m currently not seeing. Despite being a glaucoma patient, many people don’t know. There’s no difference between me and a blind person now, but no one knows because I don’t let my condition weigh me down,” he said.

The veteran entertainer added that he has chosen to remain positive and continue living independently rather than allow the condition to affect his mental health.
“Thank God that I know how to take care of myself like someone who can see. I decided not to dwell on my condition because I don’t want to be depressed,” he said.
Despite his health struggles, Aluko said he remains determined to carry on with life while managing the effects of the illness.
