Temi Ajibade, daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, and her husband, musician Tosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, have opened up about the stress and disagreements they experienced while organising their lavish wedding celebrations.
The couple shared their experience in a snippet from their podcast, #thehowfarpod, posted on Instagram on Sunday.
According to them, planning three destination weddings in just three months proved to be a demanding task. Temi described the schedule as “insane,” saying, “Three weddings within three months, like that’s insane, like do three destination events within three months.”
Mr Eazi agreed, adding, “And we have one more to go.”
The musician revealed that their initial plan for a court wedding was to keep it simple and private in Nigeria, but circumstances made it clear that it would not remain as intimate as they had hoped. He also shared that a friend suggested bringing court officials to their residence for a private civil ceremony.
“I thought that was cool, but you were like no, you’re not having that,” Mr Eazi recalled.
Temi clarified that she wasn’t entirely opposed to the idea but expressed her satisfaction that they ultimately went with her preferred location, Monaco.

When asked why they didn’t opt for a civil wedding in the United Kingdom, Temi explained, “Because it does not feel like a true link for me, like a real reason. Even Monaco is more sentimental.”
Reflecting on the process, Mr Eazi admitted that the administrative side of the weddings took him by surprise. “I thought getting married was just deciding you want to get married, and then you go to the court and sign papers, little did I know that there was a mountain of administration,” he said.
Their candid conversation offers fans a glimpse into the realities behind planning multiple high-profile weddings, highlighting both the excitement and logistical challenges of such grand celebrations.
