Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has criticized Nigeria’s state of affairs, stating that many citizens are reluctant to identify as Nigerians due to corruption, insecurity, and economic challenges.

In a video circulating online on Thursday, Sunday Igboho, speaking from a UK airport, highlighted his dissatisfaction with Nigeria’s poor infrastructure and lack of security.

He stated, “Even inside the airport, there is no security. They can steal your belongings inside your bag. Things like that make us sad to identify ourselves as Nigerians.”

Advocating for self-determination, Igboho emphasized that if Nigeria cannot function as a unified country, ethnic groups should go their separate ways.

Sunday Igboho expressed confidence in Yoruba youths, citing their global exposure and knowledge, which he believes can transform the Yoruba Nation into a prosperous society comparable to those in Europe.

This latest statement aligns with Igboho’s longstanding call for the Yoruba Nation’s independence, reflecting growing frustrations among separatist movements in Nigeria.
