Luck smiled on him when the Governor Rochas Okorocha was present at the 2016 combined convocation ceremony of Imo State University (IMSU).

The impressed governor gifted the best graduating student, Dr Chigozie Ekenze,N13.7million for further studies.

Ekenze broke down in tears before all!

The money is to enable the optometrist proceed for his Post Graduate Program in London, having taken advantage of the free education given to Imo indigenes by Gov. Okorocha which enabled him complete his studies in IMSU.
It was evident that the scholar was overjoyed that the opportunity for him to further his studies again presented itself
While receiving the cheque from Mrs Ugo Nneoma Rochas Okorocha,he knelt down and broke down in tears.
