Shade Okoya, wife of billionaire industrialist Rasaq Okoya, on Sunday shared lovely photos to Instagram to mark her 44th birthday.
The managing director of Eleganza Industrial City, in one of her posts, said she was blessed to see a new year.
“Blessed to add another year to this beautiful journey called Life. Happy birthday to Me!” Mrs Okoya wrote.
In another post, she wrote: “Allah, I can’t thank you enough for bringing me this far in life. You have blessed me with life, good health, happiness, family and a peace of mind.
“These gifts are worth more than all the money and treasures of the world. Thank you so much and all I ask on my birthday is that you please, continue to smile on me.”
Born in Lagos, Shade Okoya studied at the Lagos State Polytechnic, Isolo, where she obtained an OND in banking and finance. She followed this up with a degree in sociology at the University of Lagos.
The mother of four has interests in many areas of business. She also oversees the Eleganza Cruise and Travels Limited, and is also a board member of Eleganza Group and RAO Investment Property Company Limited.
