Shade Okoya, one of the wives of industrialist Razaq Okoya, on Thursday, January 12 celebrated him on his 83rd birthday.
The mother of four took to Instagram to celebrate him, stating how lucky she is that her husband is blessed to celebrate life.
In her birthday message, she wrote: “Happy birthday to one of my favorite people in the whole world. How lucky am I that my husband, my chairman and my heart is blessed to celebrate life! May this be an incredible year of favour, joy, love and peace!”
The 45-year-old also revealed that it was a day of double celebration as her daughter, Olamide also clocked a year older.
Sharing photos of the girl, she captioned her post: “Happy birthday to another one of my favorite people in the whole world. My dear daughter @raheeda my gift, my twin may this be a year of more blessings, growth, peace, love, and favor. Today is double the joy! I love you both very much.”
Shade was among 450 persons who received national honours from President Muhammadu Buhari in October 2022.
The University of Lagos alumnus married Okoya at the age of 21, at the time when he was 59 years old. The couple has four children Olamide, Subomi, Oyinola, and Wahab.
The businessman also has children from his other wives.
Razaq Okoya is the founder and owner of Eleganza Group of Companies, which has a market spanning Western Africa.
His wife Shade is the MD/CEO of the conglomerate.
Okoya was brother-in-law of the recently deceased Ademola Seriki who was Nigeria’s ambassador to Spain.
