For Seyi Edun and Adeniyi Johnson, this is soothing news after seven years of marriage.
The Nollywood couple who got married amidst controversies had been without a child(ren) of theirs since 2018.
Formerly married to Toyin Abraham, Adeniyi Johnson announced the arrival of his twin children with wife Seyi Edun on Monday, when he turned 45.
“HALLELUYHA!!! LATEST TWINS DAD IN TOWN,” the excited father began his message.
Continuing, he wrote “My wife and I waited for Seven years … GOD IS INDEED GOD… He planned it as a birthday gift for me … Friends, Family, Fans, well-wishers and Associates I am happy and pleased to announce to you all that I am the latest TWINS DAD!!! My wife is doing fine and Ibeji are doing great… THANK YOU ALL!!!”
Adeniyi said the birth of the twins was the reason he could not make a post earlier in the day about his birthday.
“This is why I couldn’t post or celebrate my birthday. I didn’t even remember it’s my birthday. Apologies for not replying messages, taking calls or commenting on your posts I hope this good news will make you pardon me. I love you all.
“THANK YOU Seyi Edun for these beautiful kids. God keep and protect them for us. I LOVE YOU BABY,” Adeniyi concluded his post.
Seyi did not say anything about the twins in the post she made earlier in the day to celebrate her husband’s birthday.

“Like I always say: Together we are a team. Together we are inseparable. Together we are just as hot as we can be. I’m so grateful for another year to spend with you,” Seyi began her message.
She added that her wish for Adeniyi is to be happy and loved.

“Happy birthday Aremu Oko Ashaby! Love you forever,” the actress concluded her message.
Responding in the comment section of the post, Adeniyi simply wrote “Thank you my queen … love you always.”
Adeniyi and Seyi got married in a private ceremony in 2018.
The actor was formerly married to actress Toyin Abraham, then known as Toyin Aimakhu.
