Nollywood actor, Segun Ogungbe has taken time to eulogise his two wives as they celebrate their birthdays this April.
The polygamist, who is based in Abeokuta, had always denied marrying two best friends, took to Instagram to celebrate his first wife, Atinuke, who celebrated her birthday a week ago

Meanwhile, six days after, his second wife, Omowunmi Ajiboye aka Awoko Aliyah celebrated hers too.
The mum of two who flooded Instgram with her beautiful photos got her husband’s attention and many of her fans. The excited husband took to Instagram and wrote:
“You are the most thoughtful, intelligent and caring person I know. You always have my back and for that I’m forever grateful.
How lucky am I to call you my wife You deserve everything your heart desires. and we’re so blessed to have you as good mother of my Kings

Since his marriage to Omowunmi Ajiboye in 2015, Segun Ogungbe has never enjoyed a positive press—He has continually been lambasted for marrying his wife’s best friend.
However, a few years ago, in an interview with Saturday PUNCH, Segun Ogungbe opened up. He denied ever marrying two best friends.
The actor cum producer explained:
“What actually happened was that there was a lady who wanted to marry me a long time while ago and I made her realise that as of that time I could not have two wives. She is not into entertainment at all and I would not want to mention names. Eventually, I got together with my second wife and when she got pregnant and we eventually got married, the lady was very mad at me. She was the one that went on her Facebook wall to spread the false news that I got my first wife’s best friend pregnant. She was the one that framed me simply because I did not want to marry her back then. Sadly, people are quick to believe news like this without confirming the truth. No blogger reached out to me before they picked the news from her Facebook page and that is the rumour being peddled against me till date. No one would believe the truth till they hear from me but no one reached out to me and how many people would I begin to explain what really transpired.”
