See More: BBNaija All-Stars Edition Premiers Today

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) viewers anxiously anticipate the premiere of the year’s episode, dubbed “All-Stars.”

As the most viewed and divisive reality programme returns to the televisions today, July 23, there will be another 70 days of enjoyment, unforeseen turns and turns, interesting and fascinating activities, and many more.

Fans can expect to see the usual head of house challenge, the arena games, the legendary pool and grill party, the Saturday night raves, as well as their favourite “Ninjas” running various errands for Big Brother, including making trouble and pulling pranks on housemates. This edition will include some participants from previous seasons.

This season will have carefully chosen roommates and fan favourites from past seasons of the programme, including See Gobe, Double Wahala, Pepper Dem, Lockdown, Shine Ya Eye, and Level Up, the organisers said at a press conference on July 14.

And thus, for the first time in the BBNaija reality TV show’s history, viewers will once again get to see some of their favourite housemates from past seasons when they enter the building in an effort to win the top place in the game of wit, strategy, and character.

“We’ve been involving our viewers, the business, and the supporters for seven years. The majority of viewers tune in while Big Brother is on since this is the most popular programme in Africa. Fans should be on the lookout for fresh iterations of the familiar housemates, said Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice Nigeria Limited.

We are grateful to MoniePoint Nigeria for joining us as the season’s primary sponsor and for working with us to support the aspirations of the performers who will wow us this year with stunning performances as we reintroduce the fans’ favourite housemates.

Naturally, via their diary room sessions, viewers can expect to interact closely with the housemates, Tejumola added.

The winner of this eighth edition will take home a grand prize of cash and other goods totaling N120 million, an increase in value from last year’s N100 million.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the programme’s usual presenter, is returning to host the reality show for the BBNaija All-Star Edition.

Obi-Uchendu replied “fun, drama, and all the razzmatazz that comes with a reality show” when asked what viewers may anticipate.

“These participants can’t be showing up for a programme like this without a plan; this is N120m at stake. So, keep an eye on your BBNaija channels and take in all the thrills this programme has to offer. I’ll tell it again: you can’t merely predict what will happen.

On Sunday, July 23, the programme will debut at 7 p.m. on the following channels: Africa Magic Showcase (151), Africa Magic Urban (153), and Africa Magic Family (154). The 10-week run will end on October 1, 2023, with the grand finale airing on the 24-hour Big Brother-dedicated Channels, Dstv Channel 198 and Gotv Channel 49.
