Lagos State Governor and Chairman of the South-West Governors Forum, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended birthday wishes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a visionary leader with a strong commitment to national development.
In a statement released on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu praised the President’s leadership qualities and his contributions to governance and economic growth in Nigeria.
He noted that Tinubu’s influence has been significant in shaping Lagos State, the South-West, and the country at large, adding that his leadership has inspired confidence in public administration.
“On behalf of my wife, Ibijoke, my family, the government and people of Lagos State, as well as leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos, I congratulate our National Leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his 74th birthday,” Sanwo-Olu said.
He further described the President as a dedicated democrat whose years of public service reflect a deep commitment to progress and national unity.
“President Tinubu is an enigmatic, tested and trusted politician whose democratic credentials and governance style underscore his dedication to building a better Nigeria,” he said.
Sanwo-Olu also highlighted Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, saying it continues to promote inclusiveness and deliver positive results for Nigerians across different sectors.

He commended Tinubu’s earlier role in Lagos State, stating that his policies during his tenure as governor contributed greatly to the state’s growth and development.
“As President, he has shown courage, integrity, and patriotism in steering the nation through complex challenges, implementing bold reforms aimed at addressing economic issues and improving the lives of Nigerians,” he added.
The governor concluded by praying for continued strength, wisdom, and good health for the President as he celebrates another year.
