The deposed Emir of Kano, Mallam Muhammadu Sanusi11 has departed Abuja on Friday evening for his Lagos home.
The Emir, who departed Awe, Nasarawa State where he was banished to by the Kano State Government, with Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
The duo arrived Abuja and the governor, who disclosed their movement in a series of tweets, also escorted the former Emir to board another flight to Lagos.
El-rufai tweeted that he has escorted HH Muhammadu Sanusi II to board his flight to Lagos.
A Federal High Court in Abuja had on Friday issued an interim order for Sanusi’s release from confinement.
Sanusi was taken to Nasarawa after being dethroned on Monday.
