The family of late gospel musician, Sammie Okposo has released an official statement confirming the demise of their kinsman.
The statement signed by Mr Hector Okposo, pleads for privacy as the family mourn their irreparable loss.
The statement reads
it was gathered that the singer died on Friday morning after he slumped.
He was rushed to a hospital in Lekki where he was confirmed dead.
The singer was slated to minister, alongside other gospel singers, Eben, Chuks Praise, Joy Favour and Victor Edit at the Outpouring Assembly International in Calabar on Friday, November 25 to 27. He, unfortunately, died hours before the event.
