Nigeria’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu, has appealed to music stars Davido, Burna Boy, and Asake to unite in supporting vulnerable Nigerians through a joint charitable initiative.
Speaking while inspecting the National Community Food Bank Project for the North Central region, the First Lady encouraged young Nigerians, particularly successful entertainers, to use their wealth to uplift those in need.
She said the government alone cannot shoulder the growing demands of assisting struggling citizens and urged the musicians to establish a foundation dedicated to helping the less privileged.

“I want to appeal to our young people in this country. Burna Boy, Asake, and Davido, we want to see you come together under one foundation to help the póor with your money. The Maybachs and Rolls-Royces are good, but you can still help. The burden on the government is huge,” she said.
