Mrs Remi Tinubu, wife of the ruling All Progressive Congress chieftain, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has reacted to a viral video of her calling an educationalist identified as Arinola Oloko a thug, says she only asked if she was a thug.
Recall that the Senator representing Lagos Central recently came under heavy criticism after a video of her supposedly calling a woman a thug during the public hearing of the constitutional review went viral.
It was reported that Remi Tinubu was involved in a dispute with some Nigerians who attended the event, leading to her allegedly calling a woman a thug.
Reacting to the allegation, the Senator while featuring on a TVC breakfast show, ‘Your View’, on Friday, denied claims that she called her a thug. She revealed that she only asked if she was a thug.
According to the Senator, she only asked her a question and expected her to respond that she is not a thug.
She said, “I only asked a question and I expected her to say, ‘Ma’am, I am not a thug’”.
Speaking about how she handle issues being the wife of APC chieftain, Tinubu, she disclosed that she do not report anyone to her husband, reasons being that he would always tell her that she is wrong, while claiming that she fights for herself.
