Nollywood star Regina Daniels has responded following the public statement issued by Serenity Royale Hospital, Abuja, after a supposed medical report linking her to substance abuse surfaced online.
Earlier reports claimed that a document allegedly from the facility detailed a detoxification programme for the actress, suggesting she tested positive for cocaine, marijuana, alcohol, and other hard substances. The hospital, however, released a statement hours later firmly denying any involvement in leaking such a report or confirming its authenticity.
Reacting on Instagram, Regina expressed gratitude to the hospital for clarifying the matter. She explained that she has a personal relationship with the hospital’s owner, making the situation even more unsettling when the alleged report first circulated.

She admitted she was initially distressed by the claims and had even considered taking legal action, but appreciated the facility for publicly affirming the truth despite their connection to her family.
In her words:
“Thank you for this. Knowing the owner of this hospital is a family friend made me almost go crãzy and sue y’all. But thanks for standing by the truth, admits knowing your big fish in the family. Saving your hospital and just doing the right thing. So thanks, and let me kill this.”
The actress’ response now adds further clarity to the ongoing controversy as she moves to put the matter to rest.
