Record Labels, Night Clubs Are Money Laundering Agents – Noble Igwe

Fashion enthusiast/blogger, Noble Igwe has advised the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to look into night clubs along certain streets in Lagos because he believes they serve as fronts for money laundering. He also mentioned record labels, car and property selling businesses as 419 ventures.
His claims which he made via social media came just few hours after EFCC raided some night clubs and arrested 12 suspects with 10 cars recovered. The commission made the news known via its Twitter handle.
“Operatives of the EFCC early this morning raided Club 57 in Ikoyi, acting on intelligence report of activities of suspected Internet fraudsters,” the EFCC said in a tweet.
“While some abandoned their exotic cars to evade arrest, some others resisted. 12 suspects were arrested, with 10 cars recovered.”
People steal and then turn around to blame the government for making them criminals. Anyone that defends a criminal is a criminal and while we have a list for people advocating rape culture,we should also have one for such people”.
