Nigerian singer, Oluwaseyi Odedere popularly known as Seyi Shay’s Instagram account wasn’t hacked afterall.
On Thursday, she disclosed that her Instagram account has been hacked after semi-nude photos of herself appeared on the page.
The raunchy pictures got her fans talking prompting her to denounce the pictures on her Twitter handle.
“Seems to be a deliberate attack as the photos circulating are not from a recent exchange. Please ignore all direct messages (DMs) from my account and do not share any personal info,” she tweeted.
Recall that Toke Makinwa and Tacha of BBNaija 2019 had also called out unidentified individuals for threatening to leak their nude photos.
“I cannot tell why/who is doing this, but my IG account has been compromised and my privacy is being violated,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Seyi Shay dumped her ‘hacked’ Instagram account on which was posted her raunchy photographs on Thursday.
Later Thursday, she opened another account, still using her old name, “Iamseyishay’ but with an additional ‘y’.
But in stating why she migrated to a new account, the singer left her fans more perplexed.
She now said she mistakenly posted the raunchy photos by herself and that was why her account was hacked. Meaning the Instagram Police actually locked her out for the obscene pictures.
Well, sharing nudes isn’t new to some celebrities.
Toke Makinwa does that and she is on everyone’s lips on social media till date.
As a matter of fact, it’s an avenue to trend on social media especially now that the world is staying home due to COVID-19 pandemic.
