Everyone
thought actor/movie producer, John Njamah, who acted as Rabiu in the TV series,
‘Fuji House of Commotion,’ would marry a Nigerian and probably an actress. But
he didn’t.
He got
married to his longtime Cameroonian girlfriend, Angwi Tangi, instead.
John, who
is actress Empress Njamah’s brother, would not explain why none of the Nollywood
actresses didn’t ‘snatch’ him. In an interview with, The Nation, in 2015 he
said his girlfriend, who is now his wife exudes intelligence and that was the
attraction to her.
“I think
it’s the intellect. And she’s beautiful. It’s a bit of everything. She just
suits the part in this movie of life that we are about to embark on. She is the
lead female and I’m the lead male. And God is the director. God is directing
the affair. And it’s a romantic comedy.”
On Sunday,
July 25, John and his family had a private traditional-wedding ceremony at
Angwi’s home in Bamenda, Cameroon with John’s sister, Empress Njamah also in
attendance.
Meanwhile,
his brother Aquilla and sister, Empress are still famously single.
