General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye has announced the forthcoming young adults and youth convention would be held virtually.

Adeboye shared a memo announcing the decision made by the mission’s authority on Instagram on Tuesday.

The September Holy Ghost Service would also be held virtually, the memo said.

“The Mission Authority has decided to hold the September 2020 Holy Ghost Service virtually. The decision is in consideration of the safety of the people, for reason that the government safety restrictions are still in place.

“This also confirms that the forthcoming Young Adults and Youth 2020 convention slated for Mon 28th September to Fri 2nd Oct 2020 would be held virtually,” the memo read.

Adeboye assured the programmes would still be impactful despite being held virtually on the church’s cable channel and other related platforms.

The decision comes as churches in Lagos and Ogun are now open for services once in a week with a maximum number of 50 persons due to the coronavirus pandemic.
