Popular sports journalist, Bunmi Ashebu, who battled cancer for months has finally succumbed to the ailment, leaving her family and friends a distraught state.
Ashebu died barely four months after a public appeal was launched to raise funds for her cancer treatment abroad.
Ashiebu was diagnosed with a stage-four cholangiocarcinoma last May. It is a very rare form of bile duct cancer that had spread to her liver.
It was gathered that Asiebu was in Germany, where she received treatment for six weeks.
