On Sunday, April 11, 2021, the social media went agog with the news of popular eastern based Comedienne, Mercy Ginikachukwu aka Ada Jesus. Not only was she diagnosed of having a Kidney disease, but she was said to be seeking forgiveness from all those she had ‘sinned’ against including Prophet Odumeje.
The news of her sickness first broke out back in February after she made a video to solicit support and prayers from her fans and well meaning Nigerians. While many prayed for her quick recovery, others advised her to go and ask for forgiveness as they claimed she had mocked pastors, herbalists and many notable people in most of her videos and that her sickness might not be ordinary.
Some of the notable people she had called out in some of her videos were popular herbalist,, Chi Marine, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje, and Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie.
Ada Jesus had provoked and dared Chi Marine to do his worst, making mockery of him on Facebook on different occasions that he is fake and wouldn’t harm her.
She also accused Prophet Odumeje of faking miracles, and that she had been helping to bring people to fake miracles for him.
Ada Jesus also accused Actress Rita Edochie of coming to meet her to bring people for Prophet Odumeje for fake miracles. She also went further to accuse her of having an affair with Prophet Odumeje and that she is a lesbian.
Ada has since released a video from her sick bed to ask for forgiveness from many people she insulted and accused of different things. Her sickness has however gotten so bad as she can’t get up from her sick bed or talk.
Her family took her to Chi Marine’s shrine to ask the herbalist for forgiveness. He received them, forgave her and performed some rituals to reverse the curses he had laid on her and also gave her a sum of 100,000 naira.
In the same vein, her family took her to Prophet Odumeje’s church to seek forgiveness from the man of God and Rita Edochie who is also a member of the church.
However, the prophet and actress blatantly refused to forgive Ada Jesus as they rained more curses on her; an act that many people have condemned.
Now, a video showing Chi Marine on his knees begging everyone Ada Jesus has offended, including Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje and Actress Rita Edochie, to forgive her has started making round the social media.
The herbalist while begging them to forgive Ada Jesus stated that no man owns life and that everyone will definitely get to the end of life one day.
