The Ogun State Police Command has declared popular singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, wanted for allegedly leading a violent attack on government officials performing their duties.

In a statement on Monday, the police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, revealed that the incident occurred on February 5, 2025, around 10:00 a.m. when three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development were carrying out an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota.
The officials identified as TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi reportedly encountered an elderly man at Odogwu Bar, who was later identified as Portable’s father.
Upon requesting the approved building plan, they were informed that the singer was unavailable.
However, shortly after, Portable allegedly arrived at the scene armed and accompanied by nine thugs, launching a violent attack on the officials.
The victims sustained injuries but managed to escape and reported the incident to the Ota Area Command, which then escalated the matter to the State Criminal Investigation Department.
While nine of his accomplices have been arrested, Portable has remained in hiding, repeatedly ignoring police invitations to appear at the command headquarters in Abeokuta.
“The Ogun State Police Command has now obtained a valid court order declaring him wanted,” the statement read.
Authorities are urging the public to provide any information that could lead to his arrest, warning that anyone found aiding or harboring him will face legal consequences.
