The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church, Pastor E.A Adeboye paid a courtesy call on Pastor Shyngle and Lady Stella Wigwe on Friday in Lagos.
The Wigwes are parents of Herbert, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Access Holding.
They are also pastors at the Redeemed Christian Church, The late Herbert was a member of the RCCG and attended the City Of David Parish before his death,
Also present to receive the RCCG team were businessmen Aliko Dangote and Aig Imokhuede, who were friends of the deceased,
It was a tragic development last Saturday, as helicopter carrying Herbert Wigwe and five other people crashed around the California-Nevada Border.
Wigwe, who along with his wife, Chizoba, and son, tragically lost their lives in the ill-fated helicopter were said to be on their way to the Super Bowls in Las Vegas, United States, when the incident took place.
Others on the ill-fated chopper were a former Group Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, Abimbola Ogunbanjo.
Taking to Instagram, Pastor Adeboye captioned his post thus:
“In heartfelt solidarity a visit filled with warmth offering condolences to Pastor and Mrs. Shyngle Wigwe on the loss of their beloved son, his wife and grandson who passed away over the weekend. May his memory be a source of comfort in these difficult times to the Family and RCCG City of David Family in Jesus name.”
