Pastor Adeboye Reveals Real Reason He Instructed His Son To Sack His Secretary

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor E.A Adeboye has opened up on his insistence for the sack of his son’s secretary.
This, he revealed in a series of tweets he shared concerning marriage and how to sustain love between a couple.
The 77-year-old father of four, who would clock 78 in March took to twitter to advise couples on the need to shun distractions in a marriage. Condemning the popular ‘crushing’ syndrome on another person who isn’t a spouse, Pastor Adeboye said, “Today, I will be focusing on the married. It is sad that many married people are still having crushes with persons apart from their spouses. If there is any fellow aside from your spouse you are admiring unduly, you must see such a person as the devil and get rid of them immediately.”
Citing an example from his household, the famous pastor, who recently revealed how to curbed anger while relating with his wife, revealed he had to advise one of his sons to shun having a crush.
Adeboye said, “He said: “One of my sons once told me that he was always excited to resume in the office every Monday because he would get to see his secretary again. I told him to fire her immediately. Nothing and no one is worth your marriage.”
Recall that Adeboye revealed he left his wife, Folu at the roadside and trekked many kilometers away from her in order to curb anger.
He said he and his wife got married at age 19 therefore it seemed some people were expecting them to have problems, and they were determined to disappoint such people. They made an agreement that both of them will never be angry at the same time. When one of them got angry, the other will keep quiet.
The agreement worked well and there were less issues. But one day, they nearly broke the agreement. They were traveling to Lagos from Ilesha one day. Something made Mummy Folu angry and Pastor Adeboye said he knew she was right. She had opportunity to hit the man of God well. She was talking while Pastor Adeboye was driving. He was angry as well but he could not talk and there was nowhere to run. When Pastor Adeboye could not control it anymore, he parked the car and walked away because he did not want to break the rule. He got down and walked back towards Ilesha. He left Mummy Folu in the car with the baby. After walking for a mile, he got to a village where they were selling fruit. He bought and ate some and then took the remaining to her in the car. By now, she was scared but when she saw him, she became happy. Pastor Adeboye then presented her with the peace offering.
