It is indeed a double
celebration for the Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun as he marked his
60th birthday today, May 29.
Also an occasion to thank God for his first year in office as governor, Abiodun
threw a virtual party where friends, pastors and associates celebrated with him
and also prayed for him.

Officiated by Pastor Ben Akabueze, the virtual party had in attendance the General-Overseer, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye; Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo; businessman cum Africa Richest man, Aliko Dangote and many others.

Taking to Instagram to share photos of his ‘birthday cake ‘with family, Dapo Abiodun said,

“We gathered online today for my virtual 60th Birthday Thanksgiving Service officiated by Pastor Ben Akabueze.
We gave glory to God for the gift of life at this Diamond Age, for family and well wishers, for Ogun State and where we are a year after our Administration came on board.
We prayed to Almighty God to chart us a divine course out of the pandemic that has struck the whole world, even as we further our own human efforts.

The virtual occasion, which was graced by dignitaries from their different locations, was attended by the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, senior religious leaders, former President, incumbent and former Governors, members of my cabinet, family members, friends and well-wishers.

I am indeed grateful to you all who joined the service in praise of God for how far this journey has come.”
