Lola Okoye, wife of Peter Okoye, one half of musical duo Psquare has marked her 52nd birthday on September 2, 2024.
The mother of two shared a video along with a message on her verified Instagram account on Monday, expressing gratitude for her life’s journey and excitement for what lies ahead.
She described turning 52 as a significant milestone, reflecting on the trials and tribulations she has faced, yet highlighting her resilience and strength.
In her post, she wrote, “Turning 52 is a remarkable milestone, a testament to the resilience and grace that comes with each year. I have been through trials and tribulations but here we are, standing strong.
“This year, I pray that my heart be full of gratitude for the experiences that have shaped me and the lessons that have enriched my life.”
She continued, “Here’s to celebrating the richness of my journey and looking forward to the continued adventures that lie ahead. I am grateful for everything I have been through, and I thank my family and close friends who have loved me through it all. God is good, all the time. I am a babe through and through. God’s pet. Her husband, Peter, also celebrated her on his Instagram Story, writing, “Special happy birthday to my dear wife.”
Peter and Lola have been married since 2013 and share two children— a son, Cameron, and a daughter, Aliona.
Notably, Lola is nine years older than Peter and his twin brother, Paul, who will turn 43 in November.
