Exactly 22 years after the demise of the founder of the Benson Idahosa University, Archbishop Idahosa, the last project he embarked upon before his death was dedicated.
The project, the Benson Idahosa University, Okha, Edo State was dedicated on Thursday March 1, 2020.
“It is particularly poignant because today is the 12th of
March, the day Archbishop Idahosa transited to glory, and on this same day,
Bishop Oyedepo, his son in the ministry, comes to dedicate the last project
which Papa Idahosa started. God is good.
A ittle known fact about the generosity of Bishop Oyedepo is
that for a whole year after Archbishop Idahosa died, Bishop Oyedepo paid the
salaries of the staff of the University while the school stabilized. That was a
seed which I believe has paved the way for a great harvest that we are all
blessed from.” FEB Idahosa said.
Present at the dedication were the widow of the founder, Rev Margaret Idahosa, their children, Pastor (Mrs) Faith Oyedepo Miss Joyce Oyedepo and many others.
