The wife of the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Osun State, Dr Sekinah Oyebamiji, has expressed optimism that her husband, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, will emerge victorious in Saturday’s governorship election.
Sekinah spoke after casting her ballot at Ward 9, Unit 003, AUD Primary School, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area.
She praised the conduct of the election, particularly the turnout of voters and the professionalism of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
According to her, the presence of security personnel had also contributed to maintaining peace and order at the polling unit.
“The voters’ turnout is quite impressive. The INEC officials are conducting themselves professionally. There are police officers around,” she said.
Sekinah described the voting process as peaceful and orderly, expressing confidence in the chances of the APC candidate.

“I think the process is good so far. The expectation is that Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji will carry the day,” she said.
She also urged voters to continue participating peacefully as the electoral process progresses across the state.
