Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has participated in the ongoing local government elections, casting his vote at Unit 9, Sagba Abogunde Ward 2, in Ede North Local Government Area.


The governor arrived at the polling unit around 7:56 a.m., accompanied by his supporters and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking after voting, Adeleke praised the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission for ensuring a peaceful and orderly process. He urged residents to come out en masse to exercise their civic rights without fear of intimidation.
“I want to urge everyone to come out and cast their votes. The election will be peaceful,” he assured.
The governor also called on political stakeholders and voters to avoid violence during and after the election, emphasizing the importance of a smooth democratic process.
Expressing confidence in his party’s chances, Adeleke stated that he expects all PDP candidates to emerge victorious.
