Roberto Calendar, the representative of Napoli’s striker Victor Osimhen, has stated that he may take legal action against the club following a video that mocked Osimhen, which was initially posted on Napoli’s official TikTok account and later removed.
In a statement on X (formerly known as Twitter), Calendar expressed that the video had caused significant harm to the player. He strongly condemned the video and stated that they are considering legal action and other measures to protect Victor.
As of now, Napoli has not responded to inquiries about this matter during non-business hours.
The incident occurred after Osimhen missed a late penalty in a goalless draw against Bologna in Serie A on Sunday.
Osimhen was substituted towards the end of the game and appeared to voice his disagreement with the decision, shouting at coach Rudi Garcia before leaving the field. However, Garcia downplayed the situation later.
Napoli, who are reigning champions, currently hold the seventh position in the league standings and are scheduled to play Udinese at home on Wednesday.
