Adeyeye Adeola, who goes by the name “Chef Deo,” is a chef from Nigeria. He is currently trying to break Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record for the longest cooking session by a single person.
Adeola’s cook-a-thon started on June 30, 2023, in the Ile-Oluji Local Government Area of Ondo State and will end on July 6, 2023.
Adeparusi Damilola, also known as Chef Dammy, is a Nigerian chef who recently started a 120-hour cook-a-thon in the Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State. He did this to see how far the limits of cooking endurance could be pushed.
Hilda Effiong Bassey, who is better known as Hilda Baci, has the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by a person. She did it in 93 hours and 11 minutes, which is an amazing time.
From May 11 to May 15, she tried to break the record by making more than 100 pots of food over the course of four days.
After looking at all of the proof, Guinness World Records has officially recognized Hilda Baci’s success.
But if Adeyeye Adeola gets to finish his 150-hour cook-a-thon, he will beat Hilda Baci’s record and set a new world record for the longest cooking marathon by a person.
A Nigerian named Alakowe spoke out on his social media page a few hours after the event began.
He wrote, “Ondo State Chef Deo, another chef from Ile Oluji, starts her 150-hour cook-a-thon to beat Hilda Baci’s record. She’s been cooking for 5 hours and 40 minutes.”
