The last two weeks must have been like the surge of a tornado on the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi.
Though reported in the media to have moved out of the palace, she seems not bothered at what went down in the media on her once-enviable marriage with the handsome king.
The Olori who donated over 50-bed shelter home in Lunsar, Sierra Leone to assist and house victims of the mudslide in Freetown which rendered people homeless, has also taken to orphanages.
Visiting the Heart of Gold hospice run by Mrs Laja Adedoyin, Olori Ogunwusi, who hasn’t said a word since her marriage collapse has been celebrated in the media, took to Instagram and wrote:
“Please refrain from criticizing those who give their time & money to charitable causes in other countries like Sierra Leone. Charity knows no geographic boundaries. If you’re not a part of the solution, you’re the problem.
My Initiative, #Forward has donated over $150,000 rebuilding and funding local orphanages and training centers in Lagos and Benin since February 2017. One of my orphanages, Sacred Heart Hospice in Surulere is in need of more donors and volunteers. They are a home for marginalized and special needs children with autism and birth defects.◾ These amazing children also performed at my #OrphanAid Give Back Concert in February 2017 and were amongst recipients of the funds raised. Your generosity towards their care will go a long way. You truly haven’t lived until you do something for someone who can not repay you. www.hoghospice.org.” (sic)
