The Ogun State Police Command has dismissed reports circulating online that Nigerian TikTok creator Mirabel is in police custody.
Mirabel, who goes by the username @mirab351, recently posted a video claiming she was sexually assaulted by an unidentified man on Sunday, February 15. Her emotional disclosure quickly went viral, prompting social media conversations under the hashtag #StopRapingWomen.
Despite the online buzz, some users speculated that her claims were false and that she had been arrested for misleading the public.
Responding to inquiries from DAILY POST on Thursday, Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi said the matter remains under investigation.
