“I’m at a loss for what people really want from me? There is nothing I do that is good in your eyes. No matter what I do, it’s never right, and you always find fault. Have I offended you before? If I sing, you will say it it is not what my colleagues are singing and that it is an outdated genre. If I sing the kind of song you prefer, you will say I am too old for that kind of song. Her remarks have since generated reactions online, with many fans debating the pressures musicians face in balancing originality with audience expectations.
