Veteran Nollywood actor, Jude Chukwuka, has recounted how he was attacked by unknown men on a movie set in Ikorodu, Lagos State, after being mistaken for Naira Marley’s father.
In an interview with Seun Oloketuyi on YouTube, Chukwuka revealed that a group of young men stormed the set and accused him of being responsible for Mohbad’s death because they believed Naira Marley was his son.
“Some people wanted to take advantage of the situation to become famous. Claiming that my son was responsible for Mohbad’s death, a group of men attacked me on a film set,” he said.
Despite trying to clarify the mix-up, Chukwuka stated that the attackers refused to listen, insisting that he was connected to Mohbad’s demise.
“I told them I am not Naira Marley’s father. I am from Delta State, and he is from Abeokuta,” he added.
The actor’s ordeal comes amid ongoing controversies surrounding Mohbad’s death, with many still pointing fingers at Naira Marley.
